Perris, CA / City of Perris – This week, Mar y Sol restaurant, a steak and seafood eatery, held its official ribbon cutting ceremony. The ceremony was organized by the Perris Valley Chamber of Commerce for owners Oscar and Sandra Torres.

Oscar Torres said he grew up in the restaurant business, spending 38 years in the industry. He and his wife previously operated restaurants in the San Fernando Valley. Although the ribbon-cutting this week marked the business’ official grand opening, Mar y Sol has been operating for several weeks and has earned praise from its customers.

He said he and his wife already have made friends in the City and look forward to a long and prosperous future.

“We have met some really great people who really care about this community,” Oscar Torres said. “They don’t just say they care, they really mean it.”

Since Perris is really lacking in any restaurants of note, it’s nice to see one opening up.
I would love to see an eatery here in Perris that caters to Vegetarians and Vegans… and others who are health and environmentally minded.
