Students arrested for igniting fireworks in classroom
Perris, CA – Two students ignited illegal fireworks inside a classroom at Heritage High School.
One of the students obtained the fireworks after his family bought them in Mexico. He took some of the fireworks to school. He was joined by another student in igniting the fireworks. The blast resulted in another student being injured. The injured student was transported to the hospital.
The students, a 16 year old from Perris and a 17 year old from Homeland, were arrested and booked into juvenile hall.
